Welcome to the Registration Site for the Don Dunstan Human Rights Oration with The Honourable Catherine Branson QC:

Until her appointment as President of the Australian Human Rights Commission, Ms Branson served as a judge of the Federal Court of Australia since 1994.  Since 2000 she has convened the Court's human rights panel that hears and determines complaints of unlawful discrimination under Commonwealth anti-discrimination laws.  Prior to her appointment as a judge, Ms Branson practised as a barrister in Adelaide.  She was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1992.  She has been the Crown Solicitor for South Australia and the CEO of the South Australian Attorney-General's Department.  Ms Branson holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bacheor of Laws from the University of Adelaide.

 

The Oration will take place on Friday 28th November 2008 at 6.45pm for 7.00pm start.  To secure a seat at this event, book now so that you dont miss out.  Cost is $15 and $10 for DDF subscribers or concession holders.
