To better prepare for the bushfire season, the Country Fire Service will be conducting a series of Bushfire Preparedness workshops across South Australia.
The workshops will assist you to prepare your business, staff and guests for the next bushfire season.
Topics covered will include bushfire behaviour, Fire Danger Ratings, Bushfire Safer Places and Bushfire Safety and Survival Planning for tourism businesses.
- Learn how to prepare a Bushfire Safety and Survival Plan for your business
- Find out what resources are available to help you develop your Plan and keep yourselves and your guests safe.
- Learn about the Fire Danger Ratings and emergency warning messages so that you can have confidence in the advice you give to staff and guests.
- Explore options for operating safely during days of high fire danger, considering your circumstances.
- Explore measures you can put in place to safeguard your business as well as your property, eg. Booking / cancellation policies and insurance.
